As part of our education at Full Sail University, we were put into teams of artists, programmers and a producer to complete a game in 5 months time. Our game, Razing Ancients, was a 3rd person platformer that attempted to put the player on an ancient beast that has risen from the ground. The player must make their way through the creature to its head in order to bring it down.
The project consisted of 6 programmers, 7 artists and one producer. My role was designing the levels and working as the Art Lead giving design direction to the rest of the art staff. We used a custom engine written from scratch by our programming team and used Maya as our primary modeling and level designing tool.
